UKCPM Court Date

So much to read on this forum, please forgive if question asked before.
So I have a court date with UKCPM set for 23 Feb 2021
I initially entered a DQ before following advice on this forum, which was possibly quite weak.
I also asked for the claimant to be present, as per Bargepole post .
Gladstones have requested that notice be treated as pursuant to CPR 27.9
Gladstones have also filed statement to court.
Can you kind people please offer some advice, or indeed a link to where I can undertake further reading.
TIA

I imagine you entered a DEFENCE, not a DQ, that was weak. A DQ is merely a form.
Yes, theyre still allowed to not turn up - eitehr the claimant company or gallstones. You simply point out there is no actual witness present from teh claimant.
NEWBIES THREAD
but first
show us your defence
then show us the witness statement and exhibits you have. If you dont have any, then you need to get cracking. When is your deadline to serve these on teh claimant and file with teh court? It WILL be on your hearing. The fact youve got the claimants sugests you are close to, or past, this deadline already
DO NOT DELAY. READ YOUR ORDER NOW1 -
Is this related to your earlier thread?
If so, why do we now have two threads about the same incident?2 -

There is no admin per se. You send a PM (use the mail symbol at the top of the page) and send a message to a board guide Soolin or Savvy and ask one of them to merge your threads, giving the two links.MrEnigma said:OK i have found the original thread.
