Yet to be confirmed but looking extremely likely. This is going to hit markets fairly hard today, with mega-caps pulling down the rest.
I'm surprised to see the FTSE100 up +1.80% as I type and I would expect the direction to reverse shortly.

I hope ZPZ stock market predictions are better than his prediction of a surge in the Pound after the trade deal .
Dec 23rd midday approx £1= €1.108
Dec 24th - Trade deal announced
Today - £1 = €1.1072 -

While I am pleased to see our ISAs going up it's a bit frustrating as the UK was one of the last markets offering attractive future return prospects. At this rate we are all just going to end up with lots of money from asset price growth and nowhere worth investing it which isn't really in anyone's long term interests.

It is what accumulating debt and pursing QE does - bring forward the asset returns. Only really benefits those who hold assets. Usually the older generations. I think the baby boomer generation have had everything gifted to them. Although much of the young will benefit through inheritances.

I wouldn't give up your day job unless you are a financial advisor that is and then I would recommend you consider a career change.2 -
Well I got that prediction spectacularly wrong!
About the best day for the FTSE100 since lockdown, isn't it? Surprising to me at least. And the impact on the mega-caps is less than seemed likely earlier.
Happy to be proved wrong here, though it could still get messy with the close vote between the opposing factions. Buy the news, sell the rumour, eh?0 -

Really? Looks like they piled into oils and miners then. There are good gains across the FTSE100 but better volumes for BP, Shell, BHP than Glaxo, Fltr, Vodafone for example.
Even Aapl and the like proving pretty resilient though.0
