I feel another addiction coming on.
I went onto the nappy cake thread Sunday/Monday and I am addicted. I think I may be suffering the same consequence on this one too!!
Hello Ladies: I think the things you've all made are beautiful. Please don't expect anything from me though! I'm not very creative... have the equivalent of two left feet in this area... but I love everything on here!

Hi, what a great thread! I have been looking for muffin cases on ebay but they all come in different sizes what would be the best size for the socks? (the fluffy ones from primark?) and do anyone have the link as to where to get them please?
Thank you.0 -

Thank you.
I used the larger 7cm diameter ones
and they worked out fine for the fluffy socks
and the two coloured flannel cakes.
I already had the 5cm size ones those are perfect
if you are using regular cotton socks or a single flannel
cake
although the tiny paper sauce pots from a
certain burger place beginning with M
look really cute with baby socks in.
nice to see you here hope you pop inn often
and post some pics of your cakes as we all
love to see the finished ones on here

to anyone that has done the sock pint things
is there a way to roll/fold the socks
and the flannel for the top?
thanks x0 -
Threelittlepigs, with difficulty for the first attempt :rotfl: I struggled like mad to start with, but have new glasses now which are different to the standard ones and they seem to roll better. I just roll normally. As for the flannel I rolled very thin then rolled into a circle and placed on the topRaising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0

do you just roll like a straight line roll
if that makes sense :rotfl:
and do you do one sock at a time?
thanks0 -
ive managed the socks but the head
is proving rather difficult:eek:0 -

Ok roll the flannel so it is a long sausage ... then roll it again so it looks like a big curly german sausage see if that works, if you roll it fairly loosely then it should be ok?Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0
