Switch Shell contract

Hi
My  shell basic broadband is ending this month. It has been a absolute nightmare service with rubbish wifi and connection issues.  Does anyone recommend a basic service which is fairly reliable and has decent router which gives good wifi. Read some bad reports about post office broadband which I was thinking of. Any comments on this
Thanks

Sky   BT  Zen A&A  would be my first choices .As opposed to cheap anything .
PO is just resold talk talk .
Wifi depends no only on router but how you set channels etc .

Wireless  from router is broadcast on a number of channels .
Main ones  are 1  6 and 11 selected via router settings .
Likewise some devices will work better in 5g rather than 2.4 .
Connection problems can be internal or external .
A&A and Zen usually top of the customer satisfaction charts .

Very strange to lump "stack it high, sell it cheap" ISPs such as BT & Sky with quality ISPs such as Zen and A&A.
  • NowTV which is basically Sky via cashback is pretty cheap

How do I check this as it seems everyone is getting the same issues with shell ?

The reviews are crap and so are sky's but the broadband itself has always been good and I joined them again over a month ago and haven't had any issues with the connection

Wifi basic settings in router .
Log in to router and change channels under wifi 1 . 6 or 11 .Test for neighbours interference via Android app on phone .
2,4 and 5 ghz are better as separate channels  as 5ghz can be better at shorter distances .
