Shawbrook bank opinions and questions

I'm looking at five year fixed accounts and see that Shawbrook Bank is offering 1.25% but I've never banked with Shawbrook and would appreciate some help with a few questions from MSE members that have banked with Shawbrook or are current customers:
Was it easy to open an account with Shawbrook Bank?
How long did it take for your account to open?
Did you need to provide any personal identification to open an account?
Is the Shawbrook website easy to use and secure?
Have you ever had to contact customer services, if so, were they helpful and was your issue resolved?
Thanks!

No id = no account or if you have id but not from the right country = no account.0

Personal ID isn't an issue, was curious if it was required and how Personal ID is processed by Shawbrook

I have used Shawbrook for savings for many years without problem.1

I've held personal and business accounts with Shawbrook for a few years and no issues.1

Thanks for the replies, much appreciated. For the fixed bond account, do you know how long you have to fund the account before the account no longer accepts deposits? I don't see any mention of the deposit window on the Shawbrook website but I know that other banks allow a maximum of 30 days from the date of opening to fund the account. Just thought I'd ask in this thread first before I contact Shawbrook tomorrow0

The general terms and conditions say that unless otherwise stated in the specific product information you can fund your savings account from your nominated account at any time until the product is withdrawn from general sale1

I have in the past made further deposits into fixed term Shawbrook ISAs several months into the fixed term, even though they were no longer on sale. I don't know whether this somewhat unusual practice applies to all their fixed term accounts but you should be able to check with their CS, who I have always found excellent.2
