We used to stay in villas a lot and whilst it’s nice not to have to scrabble for a sunbed, you’ve still got to food shop, clean and cook. That’s why I prefer hotels now. When they’ve eventually got their place you could always stay in a hotel nearby then visit them while you’re there.
Have a good weekend and don’t forget to factor in some time for you.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
We lucky SA the hotel we go to in Tenerife and the one in Majorca are only small adult only hotels but they have lots of sun beds and we are well looked after and they are both pretty central although the one in Tenerife is a very quiet resort very chilled small bars and a hippie market a couple of times a week I’m dreaming now I’m going to have a look at the prices0

Morning just managed to get through to doctors waiting for a call back now I have got blocked tear ducts and I keep getting a infection in one so I have now got a painful swollen black eye I won’t get to see a doctor it’s just a call back at sometime today but if he will arrange to have a prescription to be picked up for antibiotics at the chemist I can pick them up and start on them today I am at workaround 12 but they will let me go and get my prescription no problem I am hoping to go and get them unblocked but with COVID they are in no rush to get me in I know there’s more important ones with me but I’m fed up this is the third time I’ve had this and it’s painful . Hubby is coming on leaps and bounds he gets his clips out today so that should give him a bit more movement he had a walk to the top of the street and sat on the seats for half an hour both Saturday and Sunday he was pleased with the fresh air more than anything I am going to get cracking with a bit of housework beef stew was made yesterday with the leftover beef from lunch we will have that tonight when I get in that’s a nice easy meal and one less to think about have a good day everyone whatever you are doing0

I went on the same trip 4 years ago with a friend of mine never again she is a avid charity shop and car boot shopper when we got there she wouldn’t look on the market far to expensive and kept saying you can get stuff like that so much cheaper at a boot sale I ended up been dragged around every charity shop in York I wanted to go in the Yorkshire soap company they had some beautiful things in she wouldn’t go in said we would have a look when we came back round by the time we got back there was queues out of the door and we would have missed the bus I wouldn’t care I only went because she wanted to my family go mad always saying you are far to soft with her well it won’t happen again I am not telling her I’m going0
