We watched the war of the worlds on tv during lockdown and loved it. Like you we looked at the theatre prices and it scared us off. I love to see it though….

My hubby would watch two flies crawl across the screen milann so I didn’t take much notice when he put it on but I thought it was fantastic everyone looks at the actors in these things but the orchestra worked so hard I thought it was amazing I never treat myself and nobody else does I might have myself a little savings pot we will see

Hi SA just seen your post sorry I haven’t posted but I haven’t had time to turn round will try to update a bit more loving the new house lovely neighbours and have felt settled since the day I moved in hubby on the other hand had to isolate for a week and went in to have his operation and it was cancelled isolated again for another week and he got his new knee on Monday unfortunately on Tuesday he fell asleep and was woken by a nurse his wound had split open and his leg was in a pool of blood they have put clips in and re dressed it and it seems to be ok but he had lost a lot of blood so they are keeping him in until at least Friday to make sure everything is ok and he can manage his walking ok he is quite happy today they have found him a little television and put it in a store room near the toilet and he is sat in there watching the match they even took his meal in which he said is proper food sausage casserole and sticky toffee pudding they are catering to his every whim just like being at home meanwhile I am enjoying the peace

It’s really good to hear from you and know that you feel happy and settled in your new home.
I bet you’ve been meeting yourself coming backwards- life sounds very busy. I’m pleased to hear your dh has had his op but not too pleased to hear that he has had complications of it bleeding badly. Hopefully he will make a recovery and be back on his feet very soon. In the meantime make the most of your me time as I’m guessing you’ll be a tad busier when he comes home.
I'm wondering if the stress is hanging onto the weight, and once life is more of an even keel it will sort itself out. Some pretty impressive steps there 👏👏

Thanks milann I’m hoping so to I’ve stripped walls moved furniture painted walls hung curtains and all sorts nothing I must admit the first couple of days it might of been 8 o clock at night before we got a bite to eat all day and then I said no things are going to have to wait we are having proper meals we were just worn out and running on empty I just think it’s got to come off sometime
