Sooooooo I have had some rather good news. My old company shares are paying out. Big style dividend. We are currently deciding what to do. It should be in the region of 8-12 k so I'm hoping for 8k worst case scenario..
That will make us mortgage neutral.
But
I'm not counting my chickens until they hatch but if it happens I'm delighted.
I'm asking the OH to put an extension on the house. We shall see
It will take till April for then to clear so we have a few months to dream..
Xmas has made me realise we need a bigger bathroom . Or a ensuite building.
I'm so so nervous that this happens but wow if I got 8k that would be fabulous

Thank you @chicker and @debtfreeoneday
We are stunned. We both hold some so if it happens it's just rather mind blowing.
It gives us a while to think and decide slowly what to do. XPart time worker.

Fantastic news.
My trainers arrived by the way. They are beautiful but a snug fit... They are the right length just the width I struggle with...I've got them on and am debating... I will see how I feel in 20 minutes or so... I ordered the 8.5 mens as I've bought the 9 in the past and it was way too big... I would be an 8 other than for the width...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
