  • Most expensive month yet. But myself a bit short with over payments!!!
Going to put £50 in our savings for pay day and then need to put £120 in husbands account.  I then want to quietly breathe for a week or 2 and possibly buy a new frock.  But I'm considering no zero club this month.  Need to start Christmas shopping.

  • Arfff.

Best laid plans and all.  £300 odd quid MOT bill PLUS it needs a new exhaust in the next month.

    So

I am getting my hair dyed (it's urgent) and have bought 1 new frock.

Saved £100 into the emergency fund.  I will now aim to save as much as poss so I can add to the emergency car / Christmas slush fund.

No mortgage pay off this month I doubt . Will aim to put £100 into our premium bonds as well but I'm putting car slush first.  Arghh

  • Very quiet month financially.  Have huge after school care bill and need to pay for the car to get fixed.  Again

Savings will be made the early October before next pay x

    29 quid total from surveys
    15 due cash back.

I'm not banking then took the 20th then will pay off mortgage.  Fingers crossed I get up to the 82 quid mark.

Found out my overtime wont go in for this months pay. !!!!!!.  Never mind.

Have house insurance to pay for and spending pennies for our weekend away in Nov . That and Christmas 🎄 😍

I'm hoping by starting fairly early Christmas won't be too crazy... but we shall see.

Desperate to get the mortgage under 40k for April but hubby wants to put a bit more in savings.  We shall see.

Money saving today :, made a plan to eat through the freezer all weekend.  It's full of the most random stuff ever so needs to be eaten. And should keep next week's food nice and low

25 win on premium bonds whoop. Reinvested

  • Right.
Got my lovely high pay check.

Then the hubby started crying almost saying the mattress hurt his back.

So now I'm 600 quid down. And I have REALLY started Christina's shopping.

So we have paid for a couple of pantos. And the mattress. About 50% if Christmas shopping done.

50 quid in each child's savings

Tomorrow paying off the 80 quid to get mortgage to zero at the end club.!!

Phew. Lots of spending and then we cashed in some premium bonds so we have enough to cover us for Xmas and spending money on our weekend way next month.

48 quid now on surveys to cash in
