Front of house onto a green

Hiya new to this forum. Seeking views please.
We have sold our small new build 3 bed semi as we need more space.
Alot of the older larger properties in our are have fronts that face into greens and access is all at the back.
I don't see it as a huge issue as we can park and access at rear.. but are there issues that might come up?
Large gatherings on the green? Noise etc.

Thanks

    Do you mean this property?

In which case, I can't make out how the property is connected to the open space.  Is it through the railings in photo 13?  Is that the view from the front door?
  • All depends on what the area's like. My main concern is parks and green areas can end up as magnets for anti social behaviour.

Yes this is it. If you walk out the front there is green area and paths. That green fence is the back of a school

Not an uncommon arrangement. Although, with this particular property, noise from the adjacent primary school might be of concern.
With any open green space, you will get children congregating and making noise. In better areas, they would be off to bed by the time it got dark. Dogs being exercised off leash might be a concern, especially if the owners don't pick up the turds when dumped.

Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.

So, the green is between your house and Carisbrooke Way?
There may be some ASB and dog mess, noise from the school, but on balance I'd prefer to enjoy the green space than just be surrounded by concrete and houses.

Yes the front of carisbrooke road and sudbury face into the same green area. This plot is on the corner so also close to the end of the green which also backs onto the lower school border.
This seems a common set up for the area. A few close by very similar, this one needs alot of work but less busy out the back for parkin property-85600501

It looks like school playing fields so you need to find out what the access out of hours is like - there may be signs on the gate.

I go down Church Lane to Goldington Road at least once a week. Needwood Road and Elliot Crescent don't have great reputations and you are very close to them
