Giving Up/Cutting Down Alcohol Thread Part 17

Good afternoon everyone.
I agree that a new thread at the beginning of January would be appropriate. Many people will be assessing their alcohol consumption after a heavy December and Christmas period. New posters, returners and former lurkers will want to make changes and may see the new thread as a way to start. We know this thread works, indeed I don't think it is an exaggeration to say that it can change lives (it has mine 😊).
I am 26/25 please cathybird. Thank you. X5 -

I have consumed way too much these holidays.I’ll also be doing Dry January but it’s starting today and I’m driving tomorrow night. I’m under no illusion I won’t find it easy and I’m scared I’ll fail around the 2 week mark.I have bought some AF Nonsecco and AF Kopperverg to take with me to a friend’s party tomorrow night.Rob I’m in awe of what you’ve achieved. It’s impressive. I need to make some huge changes. Is anyone signing up to DJ or just unofficially doing it? I wondered if that would help.12 for me please.I’m also going to enter the yearly challenge for the first time. Following your advice on how to calculate it I’ll aim for 180 (but with 200 in mind please). Thanks for all you do Cathy. It’s much appreciated.Live for the moment and plan for the future4
