I went to a Christmas fayre yesterday and bought some tombola tickets. The stall holder looked quite crestfallen when I won the star prize, a large bottle of cognac. She cheered up when I asked if I could swap it for the packet of chocolate biscuits next to it 😄! Well even in my drinking days I didn't really like brandy and my husband doesn't need any encouragement 😕.
