That's interesting wbf. I think I must be the same. I find setting a relatively low, monthly floor target and often exceeding it is better for me and similarly going TF for the year. I'd rather feel I've done better than I expected rather than failing. It's horses for courses but it works for me. As I was a bottle a day person before I joined the thread, anything is progress! 🤣Wanna_Bee_Free said:Maman, thanks for your question on the last thread: "Looking at your scores, you seem to have lots of excellent months and then a few blips. Do you know why specifically? 🤔"
I often struggle in December at the end of a year when I know I have missed my target. I have always struggled with getting back on track straight after holidays..... Thanks for the question, still mulling it over.
I was sorely tempted to have a drink last night. Boris on tv, at 8 o'clock, just as my team were kicking off against Liverpool. It was absolutely nerve wracking but I got through it. 😇 Hopefully no such temptations today.
2/10 AFDs please Cathy6 -
Cold and damp out, but hey! Fruit tea! 4/28 for me. A "big shop" to do - hate that but must be done. At least I'll have a decent dinner to look forward to!Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!4

Declaring early for today on 3/10 please cathybird
Like you maman, I almost succumbed yesterday as, on top of the lockdown news, we had a pipe burst above our lounge ceiling and had to call an emergency plumber out - luckily enough he managed to trace the offending pipe and mend it but had to cut a hole in the ceiling 😱.4 -
