Just to let everyone know, I'm hopping on a plane tomorrow for quite a long flight but I will try to do an update at around 9am before I go, so if anyone is reporting an emoji day, could you possibly post by then? Sorry for the lateish notice. I will update as soon as I can obviously, but it will probably be at a weird time of day on the 15th.

@sunshine_raincloud & @AllNightDiner thank you Going to Australia for my dad's 94th birthday but also there will be several family occasions & reunions while I'm there. I am not going to worry too much about AFDs, though there may be one or two? I've "saved up" enough to still meet my annual target anyway.

Sounds absolutely fantastic! Have an amazing time! Yes, I agree will be nice just to relax and enjoy spending time with your family and not worry about AFDs!

Hi all, 8/27 here and a misplaced "Thanks"! to this site. A friend (financially naïve) had £26,000 in a non-paying current account. Eek! Not now. Brand loyalty means they haven't got the very highest rate on £25,000 but 2.75% and they're happy with that. Boom!
