Feeling a bit scared and emotional about the situation in Ukraine. I feel like having a drink but would it make me feel better? No. Would it help the people of Ukraine? No again. So I am going to make a donation to the Red Cross including money saved by not drinking.

Rereading this I realised that it comes across as a bit "look at me aren't I great". The reality is that I wanted a drink yesterday more than I have for a long time. I had to talk myself out of it and wrote my dialogue with myself on here for accountability 😊.
It is my birthday weekend so I may well have a drink later but for the 'right' reasons. I'll report later. X

I don't have a problem with that, you are! Whereas I'm simply amaaazing, Dahlinks, smothered in sequins and diamonds  and a pearl cigarette holder just for you. Mwah!

Obviously not true but 5/31 is. Off to Lewes today for the football. I'd rather be a Rook than a Rebel!

I think this is totally spot on and love the idea of donating savings from not drinking.

5/29 for me for yesterday please.  I may have been disappointed not to manage a calendar month without drinking so far this year but my app tells me I have clocked up one month without a drink so that's really good. 

Had an AF toffee apple cider yesterday, um, no.  Really like the Champions AF ciders as they are only 50 calories and not overly sweet but apparently they are closing down so that's sad news.
