Good morning all, I'm such a rebel. Went into Aldi with a LIDL carrier bag. It's an eternity of molten sulphur for me now. 11/30 (thought it was 29 but no!). Comedy dancing elephant day coming up (Friday?). It's all 'go' here. Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!4

Good morning.
11 for me please cathybird. I have another sponsor for my DJ challenge so I have to do it 😃.
This will be my 4th or 5th Dry January and things are very different now. Back when I did the first one it was real white knuckle stuff, I did it but couldn't wait to have a drink (or many) on 1 February 😬. It did however lead to me thinking seriously about my drinking and eventually to this community. X

I'm up to 6 for the month please.
Every now and then I toy with the idea of sobreity and each time I think about it, the more I think it would be right for me. Not going to commit to anything as the idea of never again would make me just go, arrgggh, can't do it, but I'm reading quit lit and listening to podcasts etc.
My dad doesn't drink, my brother doesn't drink, my mum has issues with the stuff. I seem to make a fool of myself whenever I go out and drink which is rare, but still... drinking at home isn't good either.
So I will just see how things go.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

(End 2021) - £131,215.25 DID IT!!!

In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!4 -
