After several days of drinking, I've had an AF night tonight. Declaring early at 7/10 and glad to be back on the wagon.4

18/18 I made my target. Drank a lot yesterday and felt the effects today so today AF and back to it.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!3 -

I spent yesterday reading Belle’s 100 day challenge. I think HB used it to stop her drinking.I’m unsure if I want to give up completely. But I am tired of thinking about drinking and the voices in my head go back and forth.100 days seems a lot. I don’t think I have gone that many since I was pregnant.I’ve decided to break it down into bite size chunks. Dry January to start with but it starts today. I’ve a busy week and I really liked waking up yesterday clear headed.I’ve tipped away the leftover wine and have nothing in the house. I’m under no illusion it won’t be easy and there will be some difficult days. But alt40 and Rob have managed it. I want to as well. Here’s to Day 1!!I’m on 13 days still for December.Live for the moment and plan for the future6

@CuppaTea some days will be easier and some more difficult. I stopped drinking tbh not sure I can really say I have stopped drinking as I’m not looking that far ahead rather I acknowledge my life is generally better without alcohol. It’s a great feeling waking up with a clear head although that’s not to say there aren’t other challenges.
I complete emphasise with the thinking about drinking & voices going back and forth in my head. I stand by I wasn’t addicted to alcohol, generally I could take or leave it when I did binge on alcohol it was either related to the other substance or because I had put the other one out of bounds and tbh that was what I was really craving. Appreciate you don’t or probably don’t have that going on but I’ll just say it’s nice to not think about drinking generally although I do if I am going for a meal out especially with someone other than family so I wouldn’t say AF is a route to never thinking about drinking again iyswiacf.

22/25 for me today, as didn't drink yesterday but didn't log on either.
Christmas Day was excessive, boo. On examining that statement, it wasn't as excessive as previous years but I certainly paid for it yesterday. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?5 -
19/20 AFDs for me today5
