A bit late coming back to thank you all for your lovely comments when I posted last month, but thank you all the same, all of you.I'm still struggling to get to grips with my sugar addiction, and I'm sure whoever it was who told me all those years ago when I was struggling with it after I stopped drinking that part of the problem was people who drink a bit more than (shall we say) the recommended maximum units, are probably taking in quite a bit of sugar in booze, so cutting down on booze probably means we might increase our sugar consumption to balance things out. So, after seven years I've come up with a strategy that might work.I've started 'The Towards a Sugar-Free Future Challenge' and if anyone would like to join me you'd be more than welcome.Till next year ....Better is good enough.5

Hi all, 9/28 and a bottle of "Nozecco" in the fridge. Save that for rehearsal on Wednesday. 126 AFDs in a row. Slightly off at a tangent (Me? Really?!) - not only have I given up alcohol (The Devil's bile - that should put you orf!) but my red meat consumption has dropped dramatically too, seemingly without effort. No more choc-ices either so better all round, really. Next target - sugar consumption - tea being a culprit, not the amount of sugar in tea but the amount of tea with sugar!
Have a good Monday!Now a gainfully employed bassist again - WooHoo!4
