I decided to have a drink yesterday. It seemed odd on a school night.  I enjoyed it but it won't become a habit. Back on the wagon today.

Declaring early today so 16/20. Not sure whether I will reach target - if Monday is fine I think drinks in the garden with my neighbour is definitely happening and there are two personally relevant days comping up too but I will keep going.

Thank you everyone for your support and well wishes 
The 30th can't come soon enough, the last 18 months have been hell. Physical assault, ending my marriage, suspended, lockdown 1, finding out about dad's illness, lockdown 2, dad's death, lockdown 3, collusion and lies from senior management, gross misconduct hearing. You really couldn't make it up. I try to stay grateful for the positives in my life, one of which is stumbling upon this group, another massive one is being suspended so that I was able to fly back and forward to dad and spend the last months with him and with that very grateful that I didn't catch covid in the process. So glad I'm not drinking excessively and I know that no matter what happens I will be ok. All things come to pass.

@xxlalxx You really have been through its sorry to hear all that. 100% things can only get better from here for you and massive well done on not drinking excessively through all that.
