My recent champagne moment was my 60th Birthday holiday from my Daughters half term week. 4 days in Istanbul, saw Galato? Tower, blue mosque, another mosque close to the blue mosque, whirling dervishes, a grand palace (name escapes me), afternoon tea at shangri la and more! . onto cappadocia. stayed in a cave hotel in a fairy chimney suite, hot air ballooning, pottery making, wine tasting, love valley, mountains and sledging in the snow. It was all wonderful. I would love to do it all again

My Champagne moment yesterday afternoon, was going to The Ritzy cinema in Brixton to watch the film Parallel Mothers. It exceeded my expectations. It was subtitled, but that did not detract from my pleasure at watching this film unfold. The characters had me hooked right from the 1st few minutes of the film. There were very intense scenes throughout the film. For me this film was another 9/105

Sheila......what an amazing holiday. Sounds absolutely wonderful. Glad you had such a great birthday.I've have a had a wonderful weekend, nothing nearly so exciting..,,,but I'm happy. I don't want to dwell on unhappy times but I've had a few issues in my life this last year or so and champagne moments have been somewhat thin on the ground. I so want to change that.Happily nothing in life is permanent. Eventually even bad times come to an end. Out of darkness comes light and all that. 😉.Still battling with fibro and arthritis at the moment, probably not helped by my weight gain. I really need to put the work in now, lose weight and get fitter. Operation rejuvenate me begins (again!!!) today. It's time to take "massive action".My champagne moment today will be having a professional facial. I am soooooo worth it.I have ordered a new bed, and I have decided rather than try and struggle to decorate the top room myself I'm going to see if I can get a "little man" in to slosh some emulsion paint on the walls.Time to delegate a bit more often, why keep struggling, As my late husband used to say "why have a dog and bark yourself". 😂🤣.5
