You look beautiful, Sugarbaby....no wonder you were attracting the attention of all the men in the pub 😄😉😄
LL, I'm sure with all your hard work on your house and garden you'll have no problems selling when the time is right! It definitely makes sense to make a feature of the outside space - I'm always saying this, but I don't understand when people go to a great deal of effort and expense renovating a property but don't bother with the garden(s) 🙄 I appreciate that some buyers want a blank canvas outdoors, but it just shows a lack of imagination, imho.....
Champagne moments so far this weekend....
The weather wasn't really suited to building prep yesterday, but I managed to move a few of the smaller rocks whilst DH was out getting new rear tyres on the Landy, so we popped to Homesense at lunchtime 😎
Picked up a couple of lamps (one for the as yet unbuilt book room, one for the kitchen - although the shade on the latter needs replacing), a clearance priced cushion for the guest bedroom (marked down from £40 to £21) and some garden lanterns to replace our ancient ones, whose handles have broken. Also a few Jamie Oliver baking trays/tins in a great shade of teal perfect for the kitchen colour scheme...and all half price, too! Really pleased with our purchases 😊
Today the weather is more favourable, so lifting, shifting and even some digging will be done 😉Mortgage-free for fourteen years!

I haven't posted much on Instagram recently mostly due to camera issues, but thanks so much for your continued interest 😃

Hello my lovely friends.SUgarbaby..........don't know quite what to say.......except maybe well done you, you saucy little minx. 😂🤣. Enjoy!!!Some nice bargains there, Phoebe.I had a mooch round a couple of chazzas yesterday. Slim pickings clothes wise so didn't buy anything. I just picked up some toys and books for the grandchildren to play with when they visit.Well.....I have worked myself to a standstill and have collapsed onto the sofa, I know it's only 3pm but I've done quite enough for one day. Going to have a well earned rest.My champagne moments will be a soak in the bath to soothe my aching muscles and then get down to some serious pampering.See if I can rescue my poor hands. 😂.6

Thanks Phoebe for the compliment, much appreciated.
It is a shame you have issues with your camera. It was such a joy to see your photos of your house fabbing, especially your creative efforts.
Thanks LL, your saucy minx comment cracked me up5 -
Thank you, Sugarbaby 😊 I can still take pics, it's just that they come out rather misty because my lens is scratched (three year old phone camera 🙁), so not really insta-worthy, lol! Indoor ones are the worst, but I'll add a few random ones here, especially for you! - mostly garden shots taken over the past couple of months.
Today's champagne moments - baking a golden syrup cake in one of my new tins, painting the front door in quirky pink (just the first coat for now) and - after a quick alfresco lunch - cracking on with the building prep (reminding myself what a fortune we're saving, lol!), moving more rocks, paving and gravel 😉
Hopefully we'll get a bit more done this evening when DH is home as yesterday his efforts were mainly of the *investigating the weird drain scenario we have here* variety 🙄

Lovely photos Phoebe.I have spent the day gardening.Son had his surgery late afternoon. He's staying in overnight. Phew. Glad that's over. Once a mum always a mum, no matter how old they are we still worry about them don't we. 😉
I didn't sleep very well last night, but hopefully, now I know he's ok, I should sleep like a log tonight.9 -
LL I am glad both for your son's sake and for your sake that his surgery has gone well.
I hope you get a good night's sleep tonight.
Yes once a Mum always a Mum. I always worry about my 4 children even though they are now 21, 29, 38 and 39 years old.6 -
It's his birthday tomorrow bless his heart. 37. Not much of a birthday but like he said "just lets get it over and done with".I bought him a new game for his games system so he will have something to keep him entertained whilst he recuperates.6
