I received a letter today from Metro bank enclosing details about the FSCS. It says they are required to send this. However, I am unaware that I have, or have ever had an account with them. Do they own any other banks or are they owned by a bank that I might have had an account with. I'm a little confused as to why I have this letter and why they have my name, address etc.
Any ideas?
EDIT : Apologies - I have a savings account through Hargreaves Lansdown active savings. Forgot that! That's the problem with HL Active savings and Raisin savings - you forget who you have accounts with!!!!
