    Thanks for all the comments. I think I've come to the conclusion this is like most things in life,- if its so brilliant every one would be trying it.

    I see it as more like a cult. Which is why members can't comprehend why you don't want to join because it's more expensive.  When I was avoiding them years ago, they suggested shopping in specific shops with a prepay card to make cashback to offset the more expensive energy. I preferred to stick with cheaper suppliers and use my regular bank card to shop in any shop I wanted!!
