why do you need utility warehouse.
Options
I can't understand my brother. he and his o/h just can not manage there finances, and I can't see why. I remember when we were younger,he was a panel beater and sprayer and he was earning good money. and doing work at weekends. but when it came down to money, he never had any!.
so now he tells me they can not manage there household bills, so they've entrusted it to utility warehouse to sort everything out. ok,fine. but they will want there cut. nobody works for nothing.
tried to explain to him with the help of comparison sites and sites like this one you can work out your own stuff. work out what comes in, and what goes out and thats it.
anyway rant over. what I want to know is utility warehouse any good, or is my brother just getting himself further up !!!!!! creek?

Utility Warehouse seems too close to a pyramid selling scheme for my liking. Why not help him to find out his annual consumption in kWh from actual meter readings, then bung the figures in to the Citizens Advice and 'Switch with Which?' sites and see what's best?Remember that separate suppliers may well be cheaper than dual fuel.0

Personally I would say don't get involved. If they want to leave it all up to Utility Warehouse that's realistically up to them.Go and do the brotherly thing of trying to save money and show him the comparison sites, but be prepared to just leave it.1

he seems to think I should sign up to it as well. but as I explained to him, I not going to give details of my affairs to some company I never heard of. I'm quite capable of managing my incomings and outgoings.0

Put your own figures for say electric in and see how far down the list UW are.
I was with UW as a commercial supply - when I swopped away I saved 25%Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill0 -
I am a you that does not need them .Would not touch them with a bargepole to many negative reviews for years .0

I don't want to be rude but your brother seems to be the second group that prefer to leave the hassle to others. Try to open their eyes but also be ready to be disappointed if you check in the future and they didn't follow your advice.
TUW are not the cheapest option if you compare them for yourself but for some people it means simplicity.0 -
We had UW come to us after we saw them at a fayre. We were happy to listen to what they offered and it sounded great (not going to lie). They offered all sorts of savings on his piece of paper.
I did all the figures. They worked out far more expensive for my postcode and the savings they claimed could actually be sought elsewhere without such a long tie in (& poor customer service according to many reviews but seems to be standard these days)
Thankfully we were locked in to some deals so was an easy excuse.
This is the first year in three I haven't received a Christmas card from them so I guess they have realised we won't be switching.
They get commissions of between 1-8% of their customers energy usage.

We had someone come to us to try and get us to switch, they couldn't get our bills any cheaper but still wanted us to swap on the promise of future reductions.
They then tried to recruit my Husband, and was selling all the benefits, for example commission is never ending and you get money deposited in your account every month for life for each customer you've got to sign up. She went on to tell us this commission was instead of a pension - which sounds absurd if true. Oh and of course no one ever leaves as they are so fantastic.
She also said about the number of holidays and treats they've won, I came away with that I'd be paying excess on my bills so that she'd have a chance of winning more holidays. I know all companies have to make a profit and reward staff but it just doesn't sit quite right UW do itMake £2023 in 2023 (#36) £3479.30/£2023
Make £2024 in 2024...0
