    Is this for Scotland?
It was a e-mail I sent. The email address I must have got from a letter of Smart Parkings Website. Not a proper appeals form.

Stop being consumed by it. Get yourself some good nights' sleep. Only need to come back if you get an almost totally unlikely court claim
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

    Yes but do the SAR.

This is so simple and the NEWBIES thread shows you what to put.  Of course it r4ealtes to Scotland too, it's data protection law.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Send Smart Parking a Data Subject Access Request asking them for all your personal information that they hold.
The appeal that you wrote will be amongst that.

I have received the above info back. This is what it says. Not same vehicle as now.

“I am unable to provide a copy of the original PCN as this is only retained for a period of 6 months from issue. I have attached a raw copy generated in the system, containing the relevant contravention information.

I have attached all data in regards to this case, but it remains outstanding, with the driver already having been identified as per the original appeal.

If you require anything else, please don’t hesitate to contact me further.”

    What happens now?

What happens now is that you write to them again.

Do you remember why you sent them a Subject Access Request in the first place?
It was to discover what you wrote in your original appeal.

  • It was an e mail.

That's a little too cryptic for me. What are you trying to say?

Isn't this @Perwinny's thread?  Have you asked them if you can jump in on it?

  • First charge. Named the driver!!! Mistake I know now.
Said blue badge was found on floor and must have fell of dashboard when the car door was closed.
I put my card back from the very front of dash as it slips down into the opening between the window and dash.
