Alternatives to Sky+ Box Recording - TalkTalk Box etc

I have been with Sky+ and Sky Broadband (now Sky Fibre) for over 13 years. Now looking for an alternative broadband and TV supplier. Sky+ has been fantastic, recording loads of stuff, record two programs at the same time, on-demand downloads. So I am looking for something similar but from another supplier such as BT, TalkTalk, EE, Virgin Media etc.
Can anyone recommend a broadband/TV bundle plan or solution that can get very close to what Sky+ offers? Anything under £30 (ideally Fibre) would be great. It's been a long time and looking to see what the broadband/TV market offers now.
PS - I may get an Ultra 4K TV, so anything which brings the best out of that gets extra thumbs up. Plus I want to avoid any high box setup fees or high box purchases

You can split them, you can keep the Sky TV if you want and move the internet somewhere else...4k TV is to an extent irrelevant as far as Sky+HD is concerned, since that platform will never get UHD/4k content (Q does, but its more money). However if you do get a smart TV there is 4k content on Prime and Netflix (and occasionally on iPlayer).0

BT TV is well behind Sky TV .

+1 for splitting. We have Sky Q and don't wish to move from it but our Internet services are with BT and have been for quite a few years.0

When you research the alternatives, you realise what a fantastic product and service Sky+ really is. Sky Q looks even better. I expected a ratch of set-top boxes with recording capabilities from most of the big players such as BT, TalkTalk. But to me, it looks like they don't even come close.
Starting to wonder whether our haggled (albeit pricey £44) Sky TV and Fibre subscription could actually be pretty close to value for money. Might even give the basic package of Sky Q a go.

Also Q is similar (ish) to Sky+HD, but there are enough differences to make it unique. And there's no program reminder feature eitherSky is a premium product, it always has been, but the set top box, hardware, experience and whatever else (especially when Sky+HD came along) has always been good - its one of those "often imitated, never bettered" things, as they did pour a lot of time, money and effort into the platform and the boxes/software. Of course it all comes at a premium and there is no such thing as a free lunch after all. Q did have some teething issues when it launched but the majority are ironed out.1
