  • Slight update...
Documents have been sent for "sealing" by Homes England as of 5 weeks ago. We were told it should have taken 10 days maximum, and with the stamp duty holiday closing in, and no luck chasing Help To Buy (Target HCA), we're wondering if anyone has any suggestions regarding how we can contact Homes England, or anyone anywhere who can help expedite a review of the case?

  • We trust Target HCA are doing what they can do expedite things, but apparently we cannot communicate with Homes Directly and there's only one person from Home England whom is delegated with task of signing off (or 'sealing') these files.. And he le she is off sick.

It's frustrating as we're so close to the finish line (we think), but of there are any issues with the documentation, then it needs to be redone from scratch again and then we truly are buggered.

Our simply - does anyone have experience and tips in dealing with Target HCA and/or Homes England?

Any way at all we can expedite things?
  • I.e. can I go to Homes England directly? Or will they redirect me back to Target HCA?

You can now do transfers of equity to include new borrowers as well as remove old ones?

Our arrangement was agreed before this came into play - which might be what's holding things up :(.

That's been there since the scheme started in 2014 when Metropolitan was the post-sales HTB Agent. Hm. We've been telling people for years this couldn't be done.
