I wouldn't have noticed anything - it looks lovely, and a very thrifty way to use up fat quarters.

Oooh, that bag is gorgeous, SezzaF! And I think I'd just call that stitching "freehand" if anyone ever notices it, but I bet they won't.Angie - GC Jul 25: £225.85/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 26/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)6

I mislaid my sewing mojo completely about six months ago and had decided it wasn't coming back anytime soon. So I went up to the attic to see what I could give away from my stash once charity shops are open again. On my worktable was the project that I had abandoned. I picked it up and as I held it in my hand I felt a faint stirring - could it be??....Spring is springing and so is my mojo. I did about an hour and will finish it tomorrow and that will be a nice pair of blue cord jeans altered to make them slim leg and no coupons.Part of the problem was that elder DD moved back last year partly because of lockdown and partly because nightmare neighbours couldn't be evicted because of lockdown. She took over my sewing space and messed everything up and I was avoiding it even after she left because I thought it would take forever to clear up. It didn't, of course. While I was up there I dug out some Rowan handknit cotton in a bright summery blue and feel the urge to start on a summer jacket/cardigan.I don't know who has made off with the old MaryB but this new and improved one will do to be getting on withIt doesn't matter if you are a glass half full or half empty sort of person. Keep it topped up! Cheers!10
