nannygladys said:Please may I join in? I haven't really bought much this year, but during lockdown turned a couple of old 'too big' dresses into skirts as I didn't have any, and it got me thinking. I don't have loads of clothes but I don't need them really. Im retired so only work in the home (and down the allotment) and over the last couple of years have become more aware of the waste I make in my life, so I have been cutting down quite a bit on everything but after making the skirts I was thinking I could perhaps have a go at altering CS clothes for me - when they are open and reducing my clothes waste, so this challenge should keep me on track and hopefully ideas, help and advice given when I get stuck!!! By the way Ive always wanted to live in a friendly village!

Yes, of course, @nannygladys. Welcome! Please pull up a chair and join us around the fire. Cup of tea?

I've just lost a lovely long post setting out lots of plans and promises, it's too late to write it again, but I would love to join in here from Less Mending on the Mere, and will study the lists and rules so I can make sense of this complicated rationing business. Looking forward to a planned wardrobe (something new for me).8

I’d like to join for 2021 please. I’m hoping I won’t need too much, but I have got a wool addiction over the last year.Declutter 2024 in 2024 903/20249

I have made some in-roads into my stash this year with six jumpers completed - although one still needs its sleeves sewing up - and 41 balls of yarn used up. That’s my record. I normally manage 3-4 jumpers and half a dozen pairs of socks. (I only knit socks on holiday, on the occasional train trip and in the car on long journeys.)Shropshirelass said:I've just lost a lovely long post setting out lots of plans and promises, it's too late to write it again, but I would love to join in here from Less Mending on the Mere, and will study the lists and rules so I can make sense of this complicated rationing business. I'm in please, this is such a lovely place to visit. I can't see that I will need many clothes next year but I have been slowly losing weight so while some of my clothes are getting a bit baggy others will once again be able to be worn. The frustration is I am now different sizes top and bottom lol. I will just have to see how it goes. I think my biggest problem will be knitting and crotchet supplies lol, having got busy during sheilding I now find I am addicted to it.
