That is excellent @CAFCGirl. Very even stitches and tension.  If you’re working ‘in the round’/amigurumi (which it looks like you are from that picture) two thinks may help with the counting, if you aren’t doing it already,   

The first is stitch markers to mark the start of a round. Safety pins or a length of different coloured wool you can weave through your creation and then pull free works well. I also you one of those ‘people clickers’ that are used at venues to record headcount to keep track of which row I’ve finished. Really helpful if I’m picking things up and putting them down.

I have lots of the counters, but I forget to count on them as well LOL I'm so used to my looms where I can pick the number of stitches, and its impossible to go over. 

But I did add to it today and I feel a bit better...

Woohoo!!! Well done you! When I was teaching myself to crochet going under/ over was a very real issue.

I would really like to join in with this - not that I need a lot of clothes, but it might stop me buying fabric and wool 'just cos' and use up some of the stash I already have.

It's our dining table that gets used as the place DH puts books and papers down! I've tried putting a nice fancy cloth on but didn't make any difference so I just leave the tablecloth on now to save the table from scratches.

Hate sewing up?  You aren’t alone.  Most of the UFO’s in this house are because I didn’t get around to sewing up the garment when I finished knitting.

Welcome DTucker1983.  Please take a seat near the fire.  Cup of tea? Mince pie?  Do tell us more!  What do you like to knit and sew?

We will be doing another Fashion on the Ration Challenge next year, starting 1st January, when everyone will get 66 new coupons.  Yes, that includes backsliders who had to resort to the Black Market because of yarn (which was me in 2019).  I will put the thread up at some point in the next week.

Goodness, of course yes, its being December means it's nearly time for a new thread... 

This Village Hall, here at Much Mending on the Borrow, feels *so* comfortable and at-home, I forget we have to redecorate every New Year! 

I still have plans for that map of Much Mending, and the rest of the Borrow valley, by the way, not forgetting the American Airbase where @TwibbleDee is living! 
I think I've found the general area on maps in the endpapers of Angela Thirkell's 1930s/40s novels set in Barsetshire. Not far from the brilliantly-named Winter Underclose, and Winter Overcotes...
