I bought tickets to lots of gigs which have been rescheduled for next year for me and my mates, I transferred a few earlier in the year. Recently I tried to transfer 2 tickets to another friend via the app and a pop up message came up "ticket management has been deactivated for your account", now when I log into AXS App almost all the tickets have disappeared and an error messages is at the top "whoops we have trouble connecting". Their customer service live chat is awful and cannot help. Now I am worried I will lose all my tickets which I have paid thousands for. I did not breach any terms, was simply just transferring them to other friends. How can I resolve this? Their phone lines are down.

Can anyone help me out, I transferred many tickets to friends or using twickets if I could not make the concert, I tried transferring tickets the other week and message came up 'ticket management has been deactivated for your account', i can log into the app and website but the events have disappeared. I still get emails from axs saying 'ticket transfer pending' for transfers I made to other people. I try and contact them by customer support and they come back to me with the following:

"We have blocked the use of the services as per AXS Resale Agreement which were breached.

As per AXS Terms and Conditions we can see that you have transferred the tickets to many customers and only sold 3 last year.

You can see more of our T&C's on here https://www.axs.com/uk/about-purchase-agreement_UK_v4.html and https://www.theo2.co.uk/faqs/axs-official-resale-faqs

You can use the tickets on the day of the event by scanning the payment card, which you have used when making the purchase, and your photo ID.

    Kind regards,"

This makes no sense, I am allowed to transfer tickets to other people as often as I wish, I purchased these tickets legally through AXS which were in my account. Where do I stand legally? Can AXS just confiscate my events and not give my money back? They have very poor customer support reviews, I went back to them asking to clarify as on live chat they said you can transfer tickets.

From what I see, you have to transfer any tickets through their website. Clause 5.1
  • Be honest: are you really buying thousands of pounds worth of tickets and transferring them to friends, or are you re-selling in large quantities?  The former would be an unusual thing to do.  If the company suspect or have evidence of the latter, and it breaches their terms, then I'm not surprised they've locked your account.
  • I thought I recognised the OP.

This recent thread was about you bulk-buying gaming consoles and selling them on, for which PayPal suspended your account.  Strong parallels to this latest situation?

And they're also terrible at business; two 'ventures' and now both are likely to (rightly) land them in lots of debt.

Clearly there are going to be some unhappy "Friends"
    Life in the slow lane
  • At least if the OP's customers friends can't get their tickets to go to a concert, they can at least have a play on their new gaming consoles instead.
    Or then again, maybe not!

Yes, if they've already stumped up money for consoles or tickets and don't get either, OP will have to deal with it.

I foresee a rash of new threads, along the lines of "I've paid someone for tickets to see xxxx and now they're telling me I've got to produce fake ID to pretend I'm someone called kacey and that my husband is also called kacey, or I can't use the tickets. Help!"
