  • Pay day check in... I clawed it back this month after a rubbish March 🤣

Paid my credit card bills plus extra and am now at £5523 left to pay 🥳 can’t wait til it starts with a 4!

I’ve also reduced what I’m paying off slightly so I can have a life now things are opening up again. Next few months will be £400 to the cc... to leave me with £150 for food and £1-200 to have a life! Anything left at the end of the month can be paid onto my CC.  That’s the plan!

Hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine!

Here for my monthly check in... though pay day was a week ago! Made it through another month on budget. Pay day has been and £400 paid off.. £5081 to go... can’t wait to get under that £5k mark. Was chatting to a friend (the only friend who knows my full situation) and she reminded me how amazing it is to have paid off £7k already... I’m over half way from my highest point in just over a year. Always thought it seemed so unobtainable to become debt free. Slowly but surely getting there!

Annual salary review at work has gone ahead... not a huge amount but works out around £20 extra take home a month.

Student loan has just gone under £2k as well... whilst I don’t really think about this, it’s nice that it’s ticking down slowly and paying it off seems more real!!

The sun has finally come out! Here to a fabulous June!

  • A mid month check in! A morning of money shuffling! A 0% on Mbna ending next week, a new offer on my virgin card so shuffled it over. Will update signature after payday!

10 days til pay day and £80 left…. Pub lunch today… brunch next weekend… and away with work this week so don’t need much food shopping so it’s looking alright… might even have some left!!

Also managed to take on some extra work last week… gets paid on the 23rd so by the end of the month I’ll be able to pay another £900 off! Feels like such a big chunk and will take me to nearly £4K left 🥳

    enjoy the sunshine all!

  • Post pay day check in….

Paid off nearly £900 this month buuut it doesn’t feel that way 😂😂not entirely sure what happened…  had to get new glasses, did a shuffle to 0% which added a fee sooo I’m down to £4657.

Delighted to be under £5k though!! Can’t remember the last time it’s been this low!!! Now I can’t wait to get under £4k!!! Hard not to be impatient but it’s ticking down nicely!

Got some annual leave in July, though won’t be doing much am looking forward to a little break!

    Hope some sunshine returns soon!!

    Thanks Beanielou!

Another pay day has arrived! And £365 paid off. £4291 left to pay 🤩 next month be under £4K!

As the world is opening up and people are getting busy, so is my job, I was a bit worried about having to spend more doing social things (and spending money 🤣) but in a few weeks I go back to working weekends for a while so my social time will be limited, so hopefully I can keep the payment to my CCs up and stick to my budget!

Would also very much like some rain!

Not much else to report, work is keeping me very busy!

I think you're really amazing. You've come so far in such a short time.  Eve

  • I have absolutely stalled in paying off my cards 😫 normal life has really resumed and a holiday which was postponed twice is coming up so I’ve had to pay for lots of bit’s for that.

I’m lingering around the £4K mark so I’ve paid off £4k this year i think which I’m still bloomin proud of and never thought I’d reach!

I’ve re budgeted, and got a plan in place to allow me to have a life and pay off debt. Debt free date is pushed back to the summer but gotta live eh!!

    merry Christmas!
