Such a nice feeling! I’m glad that paying this off has seeming become my new obsession 😂 I can’t wait for the day when that £500+ payment a month is mine! So good to see an end in sight!I sorted out my pay for my promotion and managed to get a little more. Any extra pay I get will go straight at debts for the moment. With this little extra it’s putting my last debt payment as Feb pay day 2022 (as long as I stick to budget!!) , so nearly on the year countdown!!I did think about that with the council tax, it would make it £111 a month for the full year instead of £134 for 10 months. Something to think about before the next bill arrives! Also worked out my student loan last night... as this payment will go up also. That’s now £75 a month... but thinking if I switch to direct debit and pay £10 more a month it’ll be done by March 2023. That’s felt never ending! But bad news.... back to furlough until the end of April 😢£12k paid of in 2.5 years!Debt free by June 20220

Oh no that's not good about furlough. Can you manage on 80%?
Im going to switch to 12 monthly payments I think as it will all help to balance the increase in bills this year especially as no payrise due in April.*Dad loan - £5300 - £5900
*Virgin Credit Card - £3552.50 - £0
*Natwest - £1828.35 -£0
Barclaycard - £2315.25 - £2292.40
*Total debt - £8192.40/£10680.85*
Savings
*Savings Buffer - £700/£1000
*Emergency Fund - £2006.25/2500
*Sinking Fund - £225/£2000
*Mortgage Overpayments - £21/£950

Yeeh I think so! I’m hoping I can pick up some extra work at my second job... or even get a third temp job for a few months. Can’t believe I’m in position again... spent from last March to dec on furlough too! But just thankful to still have a job really!! And to have got a promotion in the month I spent back 🤣Have spent the weekend in a bit of a sofa nest!! Food shopped on Friday and got enough for the whole week, and also sold some bits on vinted - made £34 and also had an Uber eats 50% off voucher so treated myself to a Chinese takeaway. First takeaway this year! Roast chicken in the oven that’ll feed me for 4 days!Wish this damn snow would go away! As much as I enjoy it, my electric bill has been wiiiild last 2 months!£12k paid of in 2.5 years!Debt free by June 20220

Gosh I really hope it fly’s!!!Nearly pay day again (Monday for me woohoo) managed to stick to budget with £7 to spare 🥳 I’m kind of glad the world hasn’t opened up yet as there’s not much opportunity to overspend right now. Though I would really like to see some people in real life!!Spoke to an old colleague yesterday and there is a potential for getting some work at her new place... a couple of days a week for 2 months so that would be really handy! Both for money and to keep me occupied in furlough! 🤞🏼🤞🏼Happy weekend!£12k paid of in 2.5 years!Debt free by June 20221

Another month done! Hello March! All bills gone now and left with enough to cover a trip to the hygienist and £51 for food. Only 2 food shops left til my next pay day and already stocked up on meat and fish so hopefully won’t spend that much.... maybe enough left for a takeaway!I’ve signed up to March on cancer to try and get myself out the house more!! 10,000 steps a day for the month is the target, so I’ve been to my local woods and done my steps!£12k paid of in 2.5 years!Debt free by June 20220

Oohhhh oh oh... went over budget.. forgot Mother’s Day... forgot a birthday 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️A £65 dentist appt to pay for next week and £31 left in the account, doh!!! Food shopped today so I’m good til pay day at least!
Rejigged the budget to pay it back on payday but now left with zero fun money next month eek.. does anyone else fight between wanting to pay off as much as possible... Vs having a life 😂😂 I always seem to pay a load off but then life gets in the way... and it ticks back up again.. it’ll be a relatively quite month I think 🤞🏼 And already have a takeaway and a birthday budgeted for so I think it’ll be ok 😬 🤞🏼£12k paid of in 2.5 years!Debt free by June 20220
