.There is no switching window for phone and broadband like you see in energy. In energy you can leave 49 days before your deal ends. Can't do this in phone/broadband without incurring exit fees.Nothing to stop you looking at any time. However if you're happy with your current provider you may be able to haggle a new deal.0 -
. . . but you may be able to do a deal whereby the new provider pays any exit fees from the current provider. I found that with EE when changing to BT. BT couldn't offer me a decent deal to stay but EE beat even my existing BT deal - which is mad really because they're both the same company now (well, 'group' anyway).Neil_Jones said:david1949 said:Could someone please tell me my above contact comes to a end on the 16/1/2021 and i am trying to fine out can i start looking for a new provider now or do i have to wait to the 16th Jannary

I don't think there are any 'rules' as such, just get on the phone and talk to potential providers, ask what they can offer but then tell them what you want. If they can't oblige then find another provider. When you've spoken with enough of them just go with the best deal.0 -
Most ISPs say 30 days notice to cancel .BUT the normal route is to sign up to new ISP within that 30 day window . New ISP handles it all including cancelling old provider .0
