    OK he has just asked and the codes will be issued on Tuesday, so I guess this is normal and I just have to hope that he has a space on the bus.  He also now knows where he needs to go for his free school meal voucher.  I will need to write him a list of things to remember to ask and do otherwise he will come home on the first day no wiser and very hungry!

    @Jessy103 thank you ever so much for that.  Is it suitable for large build people, he is getting so tall and big now.  It was after I read your diary that I mentioned Twitch to him.  He became affiliated about a week ago now, so thank you :)
    Aww that's great news! Glad he's enjoying streaming and congrats on him getting affiliate! Has he filled his tax form in from twitch yet? Make sure he does so they know he's in the UK not the US and will get his payments 🙂 if they haven't emailed it to him, he can find it in the affiliate section of his creator dashboard.
    Well, I'm 5'7" and curvey and have plenty of room sitting in it, so I would say yes I think he should be fine with that.

    Lol thank you @Jessy103, I am sure anything other than the stool will be a dream to sit on - I know as that was the stool I had to sit on when helping him revise.  I half helped him with the tax bit but it was very American.  Wonder if he skipped a bit before I started to help.  Will make sure he re looks at it.  It is very much linked to the course that he will be doing at college, so if I can not figure it out I will get him to ask for help once there.  The tutor said that the class members don't earn huge amounts but can possibly cover the bus fair to and from college.

    I have 2 moody teen girls currently.  DD1 is grumpy as all of her friends have gone out without her - they are all boys so probably didn't even think to ask.  DD2 enjoyed the mosaic making but the grout was the wrong colour so she is in a strop.  They are currently hiding in their rooms and part of me hopes they will stay there until they are happier again.  I will call them down for dinner in about an hour and see how they are, and if needed see what can be done to help.

    Tomorrow DD2 has her volunteering in the library (last but one) in the morning and then there is a fun day on the grass outside of the library in the afternoon.  We have been a few times before and loved it.  Lots of free games, competitions, cream tea and a BBQ.  All free and lots of fun.  Hoping the rain stays away for them.

    Nana hasn't got back to me as yet but I am sure she will soon, if not I will give her a call.  She ended up in hospital the other week, so will make sure she is ok if I don't hear back this evening.  She often goes out for the day and doesn't take her phone with her so that is also a possibility.

    This afternoon I have been filling in the holidays for school on my calendar.  Saw a wreath making event had been popped in the school calendar, run by the pta.  I did one last year and enjoyed it, maybe I will do it again.  I would like to book in a 'lights' event like we went to last year at the national trust gardens, we need a trip to the local pumpkin patch we found last year and I would like a few other autumnal type events.  As DD1 will have limited holidays now I would like to make use of the odd weekend to do things rather than waiting for the holidays.  I would quite like another quiz night and to go to the bingo night that she tried out.  We will see as the budget also needs to work with these bits and bobs.  Am on the lookout for windfall apples to start stocking the freezer with puddings.

    So it looks wet and miserable outside. I hope it brightens up a little for the fun day later on.

    DD1 has just returned home from BF house and is getting ready for work - only today and tomorrows shift before she finishes part time work.  It does mean that she will have a month without money but she says it's fine - I feel going from weekly to monthly pay will take some getting used to.

    Just the usual washing, tidying to do today,  Sausages, mash and veg for dinner, and will get a chicken out of the freezer to defrost for either tomorrow or Mondays dinner.

    Well it has been raining all day.  DS got called into work as the washer uper didnt turn up.  DD2 did her volunteering and then later we popped to the fun day as they had gone to the effort to sorting it all out.  Had a few games to take part in (now in the church rather than outside), had a burger off the bbq and a cream tea in the church hall.  While in town we went to the refill shop to get some more dates, and DD2 got a few bits at superdrug that she had been waiting to get.

    Got home and have changed into dry socks and comfy clothes and am now under my blanket.

    Heard from Nana and she is unsure as yet what is happening - she has drs appointments this week so will just have to play it by ear on the day.  At least she was not in hospital - had a horrible dream last night that she had died, so glad she is ok.

    DD1's BF is off to uni for his initial taster session this week so no doubt the mood will not lift for long.  Need to teach her to embrace the peace and quiet when someone has gone.  Snuggling under blankets, see other friends, having a face mask and watching a good film.  I am sure that once she is working a full time job she will want some free time to herself.

    Looking forward to dinner which is now Jacket potatoes.  Easy warm comfort food.

    Looks a better day weather wise, which I am glad about as DD2 has a concert in a near by towns big park this afternoon.  Invited Nana along so maybe we will get to see her then.  DD1 & DS have work.  They both went out last night - no surprise DD1 went out but very shocked about DS as he rarely leaves his bedroom unless he has to.  They both appear to have had fun.  Will wake them up shortly.

    I would like to get some gardening done today as very aware the whole place is covered in weeds.  My Uncle is due to visit at the end of Sept so it would be good it the garden was presentable by then.

    This time next week I will be getting ready for my first day back which starts with a earlier than normal start and a coach ride for an hour or so.  I also wont return home until much later on, but hopefully it will be nice to meet up with other sites from the same group.  It will also be the day before DD1 starts her full time role.  She will be excited but nervous.  Anyway so I must make the best use of this week.

    Well yesterday didn't go to plan but that is ok as somethings can be caught up today.  In fact yesterday ended up being a very lazy day.  DS had to be collected from work as he had a funny spell (stomach ache, dizzy, unable to breath).  Once home he recovered within a few hours, not quite sure what it was but DD1(the dr of our house) reckons it was a panic attack as that is similar to the ones she has.  DS commented - what did I have to panic about.  Anyway he is better today so will keep an eye and speak to the drs if it happens again.

    So today we will be washing, cleaning, looking at the diary to see what Sept will bring.

    It is turning out to be quite a nice day.  Popped to lidl to get fizzy as I was out of it and lidl was too the other day when I tried before.  Picked some up as well as the freebies that we had.  DD1 also picked up some toiletries to keep at BF as felt that would be easier.  I mentioned something about her being at work next week and her face was a picture.  She knew it was next week, but the realisation of her being at work in 7 days time hadn't really dawned up until then lol.

    Next door and family have mended the broken fence post that they inherited from the seller.  Now that it is done our garden is completely enclosed.  They really are so polite and lovely.  I am hoping to hang some lights up now the fence is less likely to fall over.  Also would like to find some plants that last all year round for the patio tubs

    2 loads of washing are completed.  No more being done today as was out of room on the line, but hopefully tomorrow I will carry on.

    It is very quiet as each child has gone off to do their own thing - not sure what I should be doing so catching up on here and relaxing while I can.

    Up early this morning, to try to get used to the waking up on time again.  DS is in college tomorrow and we go back next week so need to start getting used to it.

    Last night I picked up some oranges, naan bread, bagels and sauces from olio.  I have frozen the naan bread to go with my curries already in the freezer.  I also froze one of the packs of bagels as didn't expect to get 2 packs.  These little savings will help as I can take the naan bread off the shopping list and we now have fruit in the fruit bowl, meaning we can stretch the need to go to the shops maybe another day.

    Todays jobs are admin jobs that need doing.

    *  Sort DS bus for college
    *  Double check DS has everything needed for tomorrow
    *  Sort bus for work
    *  Ring council tax people to check on form I need to fill out for DD1 starting work
    *  Washing
    *  Cut grass and hedge maybe

    Ok time to load the washing machine, ready for the sun to be on the solar panels to get a free wash :)

    After watching DS's emails all day we have just received the code for the bus pass.  He is now able to get to college - yay. Every one and everything I think is now sorted for the new term.

    I need to pop to the shops to get some milk and bread as both were near the end and had turned nasty (and maybe a little chocolate treat as been craving it for a few days now).  While in town I will pick up a parcel and return one too.  I would like to buy some wool as well out of my personal spends.  Now the weather has turned I have a real inkling to crochet in the evening.

    DD1 has still not returned from BFs house.  He is off to uni for a few days induction for his apprenticeship tomorrow, and he is quite anxious about it.
