Thank you.  That ishares etf concentrates on a very narrow base of holdings, just 132, which is not quite what I'm researching.

27% of the ESGV ETF is held in just 10 stocks.  The bulk of the remainder will make little diffference to the overall performance. 

I make it 39% for the top 10 holdings of the iShares ETF, vs 27% for the S&P500 index.

The figure I quoted was Vanguard US at the 30th November. 

The Vanguard ESG fund has a lower weighting to the USA (i.e. not 100%) as it is a global fund.
