UK Accessible Alternative to US Index Fund

Hi
There is a Vanguard US fund called ESGV.
As far as I can see it is not accessible to UK investors.
Can anyone tell me if there is a fund available to UK investors which
employs the same ESG screening criteria, and invests in the same range of US companies.
NB This is not a recommendation. And I have no investments in the ESGV fund.

So you are looking for an ethical US tracker based on ESG? How about https://www.ishares.com/uk/individual/en/products/283565/ishares-sustainable-msci-usa-sri-ucits-etf?switchLocale=y&siteEntryPassthrough=true

Have you looked at the The Vanguard ESG Developed World All Cap Equity Index (UK) on the Vanguard UK page? Not US-specific, but a lot of world index funds are heavy on US.trufflehunt said:HiThere is a Vanguard US fund called ESGV.As far as I can see it is not accessible to UK investors. Can anyone tell me if there is a fund available to UK investors whichemploys the same ESG screening criteria, and invests in the same range of US companies.NB This is not a recommendation. Thank you. That ishares etf concentrates on a very narrow base of holdings, just 132, which is not quite what I'm researching.masonic said:So you are looking for an ethical US tracker based on ESG? Thank you. I already have the broader 'Developed World' aspects covered, that fund also, as it happens, and this time around am looking at US, ESG, broader spread of holdings. The ESGV fund has somewhere around 1500 holdings.

I'm not sure it makes too much difference. The ESGV fund does have more holdings I would say about 1300 of those holdings make up a tiny percentage of the fund.trufflehunt said:

Yes, the Vanguard fund is much more inclusive and, just looking at the top 10 holdings, includes several companies that are excluded from the iShares ETF. I don't know whether they are rightly or wrongly excluded.trufflehunt said:

27% of the ESGV ETF is held in just 10 stocks. The bulk of the remainder will make little diffference to the overall performance.trufflehunt said:

That'll probably depend on your personal view of the funds e, s and/ or g criteria I suppose.masonic said:

I make it 39% for the top 10 holdings of the iShares ETF, vs 27% for the S&P500 index.Thrugelmir said:

The figure I quoted was Vanguard US at the 30th November.masonic said:
