Replacement Conservatory Roof

Just to clarify I installed an insulated ceiling not a replacement tiled roof!
I'm west facing and winter months were terrible as the low sun made sitting comfortably without squinting impossible.
£9k still sounds expensive for a lightweight roof, maybe a further couple of qoutes may be wise, good luck anyhow

The people who recommended this company had work done by them about 6 years ago.  At that time the guy got most of his work through a company who do conservatories and upvc windows.  The figure I am being charged is only marginally more than they paid then.  The difference obviously being that he no longer pays a commission to anybody.  I have had other quotes much higher than his.  He actually mentioned one of the companies and said they would charge about £15k without knowing I had already been quoted by them.  This is a complete replacement roof, not using panels simply to replace the existing glass or retaining the old roof frame.
