Public forum, freedom of speech - means all points and opinions are right out there, there are numerous examples of all kinds of irritating posts, we just have to deal with it 😏adamp87 said:MattMattMattUK said:Well done, you have figured out something that most of us have known for a decade or more, have a slice of cake, and a guide to punctuation.
Do you always have to be so obtuse to people?1 -
It's often the frustration at people unwilling to put any effort in such as searching the forum before posting. It is just lazy to go on a forum and post questions without looking to see if it has been answered or not before. Ones about 'Credit Scores' get mentioned so many times it would be hard to miss on even the most cursory search.[Deleted User] said:

That's not actually true, if you take a little time to read the revised forum rules.Catsacor said:

With particular reference to the one that says "respect all moneysavers" as well as the one that says "be friendly to other MoneySavers, board guides and the forum team. The forum community is intended to be a safe place that supports mental wellbeing".
Just because this is a public forum does not mean that members can say whatever they like. Nobody has to 'deal' with anything, members can choose not to say anything at all, or run the risk of being reported. Too many reported snarky comments will result in a ban from the forum. It's not a free for all in any way, it's supposed to be a safe space. Where people are kind.

And in that case, forum users can just move on and ignore such comments. There's no compunction to respond or be judgemental. If you have a read of the forum rules, you will know that.nic_c said:
