I've just done the skirtings and doors of our new extension in Dulux Trade Satinwood - water-based.

The only negative issue I had with it is that it runs very easily, and that's not even applying it thickly. I ended up having to apply it super-thinly, much more so that I would usually do, and used a good quality synthetic brush, finishing with long light strokes. This thankfully worked, but it did require three coats to get acceptable coverage. Everything else was 'good' about using it.

Very pleased with how it turned out, and it's very white - and should stay that way; it seems pretty tough too.

Subsequent coats were easier to apply. As I said, the only negative was its propensity to run. (Gratified when wife was criticising my speed - or lack thereof - so I handed her the brush. Lawdie...
Aye, I found the same.  You can't go back and sort them out later because of the horrific brush marks.  Thinner coats are definitely the way with WB.

Okay, so after much reading and considering the prices I think I have decided on bedec water based satin. Seems to get very good reviews and is supposed easy to use. Anyone here have any experience with it by any chance?

Quick question, do I still need to key the paint if painting over waterbased gloss paint applies a few months ago?

Him all. I got bedec aqua in the end and am very happy with it. It's easy to use and dries very hard which looks and feels better then other water paints I have used.
Quick question if anyone has an answer it would be great. I have condensation and mould spores on the bay window walls in my daughters bedroom. I wanted to use anti fungus painted and realised I still have dulux bathroom paint which says "mould resistant for up to 5 years". I was just wondering if I could just use that on the wall instead of buying yet another tin of paint? Not sure what the difference between then would be.

Yes, just use the bathroom paint, won't do any harm. Just kill off any mould first with a good anti-mould spray or strong bleach solution.
