How the hell os she causing poverty? She doesn’t sell to people In the company! They all buy, at the same price from the company and sell to customers. They have no outlays. It’s not possible to make someone poor if you take nothing from them. Telling me to do research, outside of the company? I’m well aware of how pyramids work. You need to research individual companies, rather than generalising.
So do you want to name the company and demonstrate how they're different from all the other names/variations of pyramid.MLM over the years ?

To answer your original question my current Mini agreement and previous Audi agreement make no mention of whether I, as the agreement holder, need to hold a licence or not. Are you getting the negative dealer feedback because of the way you're asking the question ?

I'm not sure why you are attacking people who are going out of their way to pass on advice, some of it based on previous experiences.  I think what you are looking for is that 1 person out of 100 who will say it is a great idea and that will then bring you closure.  I wish you well but don't call people on here idiots.
I'll see you back on here in a few months time I guess.
No actually, They aren’t trying to help. They’re giving opinions on something which isn’t at all relevant to what I asked.

So you’re telling me you didn’t need to show a licence to take the car? Rubbish

4: the entire point was, I was looking for advice as to how my wife could take finance, without requiring a licence, I take it NOBODY has an answer to that? 🙄
Leaving the pyramid scheme part aside, if you're intent on locking yourself into a car contract anyway, then there's nothing stopping her being the registered keeper/owner of the car without a license, you could then insure it yourself. She would, of course, need to pass the finance check on her own which will be a big ask when working for something as mercurial as an MLM.

I'm positive I've never had to provide a driving license in order to buy any of my cars, even if driving it away.
She'll need to provide some ID for the finance though, but a passport should be sufficient.

You’re not getting it. She cannot get the finance because of her having no license, that’s the only reason. We have money in the bank. We both have good credit. We have plenty money coming into the house, but because she can’t show a license to drive, they won’t allow her to take it!

She’s also been told that it’s only since last year, that the agreement holder needs to have the license. Before that, you could use another one. I have done so in the past, before I passed my test, used my dad’s.

Then it sounds like it's not possible for you to take advantage of the offer then.

How can people research the individual company if they don't know what it is?

For free, non-judgemental debt advice, try: Stepchange or National Debtline. Beware fee charging companies with similar names.

Have you worked out what has changed and why?
I've worked in the past with people with disabilities who owned cars and didn't drive. It was relatively common for people with personal carers. What has happened to all of them with the new rules?

I've also known a couple who were buying a car for her, with him paying it and the finance company insisted the v5 and finance was in his name.

It isn't clear why you are falling foul of this demand, but I'm can't believe there isn't a way round it.
