Excel - Car Park with Two Schemes- "Wrong" Ticket Displayed

The driver may not have seen the Excel sign because of the parked cars and the protrusions on the building. The Railway Ticket machine is more prominent and the first one that you see when entering from the left hand side of the Travelodge. There is a Railway Ticket machine to the right as well.

If the driver went down Miller's Lane they would miss the signage quite easily. There are random signs that are not related to parking. It is also possible to access via Lidl's car park in which case the driver would not see any signage until they had parked.

This is a brilliant image because it shows Excel's spaces that have been bleached white by the sun (should be yellow). The nearest ticket machine and the most prominent is the Railway machine by the steps.

This is my annotation of the the photo/plan from the newspaper article. Please note that I received two different photos from Excel showing the bay allocations - ie they say that some of the bays in the grouping where I was parked are theirs.

Excellent photographs. I get the impression that if this gets to court, claimant may have a mountain to claim. Is the MP on board? You never know how far you can go until you go too far.2

This is one of the two plans Excel provided to me - they say this is the correct one:

This is the other plan they provided - when I questioned it they said it was not the right one:

I've searched the other threads involving this car park, and apologies if I've missed it, but which areas are actually Excel's and in their lease, is it clear what areas of the car park are theirs?0

Snakes_Belly, thank you for the photos and your commentary. I think the only indication in the car park of the Excel bays where I was parked (if their plan is correct) are in yellow which has faded.
