We went back to a main dealer when our Renault Zoe PCP came to the end. As it was a battery lease car we couldn't use most of the "We'll buy your car" type websites.

They offered us a lot more than our final payment (over £2500 more) and handled all the paperwork for us. It was very easy and we were definitely happier than Renault Finance gaining that extra value from our car!

@cpbackhouse the Ford dealer I spoke to have weirdly said there's a "block" on them doing that.

WBAC have now dropped their offer so am giving Motorway a go.

Will feed back with how I get on!

UPDATE:

In case anyone interested in how I got on: 
I decided to use motorway as recommended!
Put out for sale, closed within a day.
Went to an approved ford dealer, I sent him some info, he sent the money and someone came to collect it next day!
Reasonable price obtained and very quick and easy. Would absolutely recommend!
