Advice needed for RX1 form, Land Registry.

Hi, I'm hoping someone can advise me. I would like to put restriction on my property (to prevent fraud). I know that I need to fill out an RX1 form, but not sure which standard Form A/B/C etc wording I would need and also what documents I should send (I have the official copy of the register of title). And also want to check if it's £40 I'd need to pay. I'm the sole owner. I'd be really grateful for any advice. Thanks.

Having seen all the threads here from people struggling to get (non-fraudulent!) transactions done with such a restriction in place, I'd consider carefully whether it's really necessary.

Thanks for your input. I'd be interested to know more, if others have had problems too.

Would signing up to the LR Property Alert scheme instead provide you with the same benefits with none of the costs and possible future legal issues?

Thanks for your reply. Actually, that's what prompted me to think about a restriction. I got three alerts this afternoon from the scheme and when I googled I came across the suggestion to place a restriction.
