    UC if you haven't worked and paid NI for 50 weeks between 6th April 2017 and 5th April 2019, or "New Style" JSA if you have. If you haven't paid enough NI to claim JSA, but have some NI credits due to claiming a state benefit prior to working, post details on the Benefits & Tax Credits forum for more advice. 

    This sort of question would have been better asked on that forum.
