@Lomcevak I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I know how much it shakes your world view to lose a young friend. 

I have updated for March, and it is looking pretty healthy. So far I am liking doing my report at the start of the month, rather than feeling that I have to wait for the interest payments to drop into my account on the last working day of the month before I can tally it up. I don't know how it will work though if I have to pull money out of savings after I declare. Maybe I won't need to as I have a fair bit in the sinking funds these days.

£11,600 saved for the year. 😀
At the moment, my budget/expenditure is just under £12,000 a year. This means that so far this year, I have saved one year worth of early retirement. 🎉

I definitely spoke too soon.... an unexpected spend and a DD coming out which I'd forgotten about meant yet another negative month. 

So SF #51 reporting a savings loss for March of -£128.70. My investment property will be going on the market imminently, so hoping for good karma and a change in fortunes. Maybe not for April as I have bills for property which takes me over my income again but lets see whether May will be in my favour. Its really disheartening repeatedly producing negative results but this is real life.

Can I please join. It's my first time in this thread and it seems interesting. I want to target for £10,000 for 2021. I just became debt free this month and want to start saving for my emergency fund.

Belated February update!
I managed to save £1,213 in February. That makes £3,291 so far in 2021, and £200,976 overall.
I've finally hit the £200k mark! I'm so chuffed. Need to do something to celebrate - which is hard with everything closed, but I'll think of something.

Sorry about your negative Queen of the Hive Hopefully the sale will help balance the books a little.
Another week to payday for me! We were planning on buying a sofa this month but havent found one we both like yet so that means likely to be a good savings month in Mar fingers crossed.
