IDmobile unrecognized account
Hi, I got a letter saying an account has been set up and a mobile phone number that has nothing to do with me is showing so is a bank account number & sort code with only the last few digits showing which don't belong to me either, there maybe a slight possibility that someone has hacked some account or something from a dormant account from I'm presuming 10-15 yrs ago as I don't recognise the account at all or the sort code. I could just ignore the letter showing that a direct debit has been set up but am worried that it may be a very old account as I haven't closed old accounts.
IDmobile gets very bad reviews for communications stating that they basically don't answer queries and having tried the the chat feature on a few different browsers it doesn't load. Has anybody any info or helpful advice please ? Any help greatly appreciated

Could be a post code error when entering the info on their system.
Could also be a fraud acc setup with your address. You should try to contact them and let them know. If you can't using online them a letter sent recorded would be a good idea...

More worrying is the fact that you don't seem to know what bank accounts you have.
I suggest you make it a New Year's resolution to sort them out and get them closed. This will avoid having concerns over who may be making use of them.0 -
You can contact them via their website but I would presume that it is a mistake or possibly fraudulent account.
Either way, it will require they investigate and come back to you.0
