😁 It's the traditional poem by Clement Clarke Moore which is where the names of all the reindeer come from. I can't do links on my phone, sorry. The out of stock one was a pop up so a nice copy but there are lots of books available with the poem. I saw one in WH Smith.

There's a preview of the pop up book by Usborne on YouTube and various versions, including one by Stormzy, if you want to hear it.

No presents as such . Start a book collection, my daughter is 18 son 15 they love it when we get the Christmas stuff down and they can go through  the books we have collected over the years.
Life is like a bath, the longer you are in it the more wrinkly you become.
  • Why not open a savings account for the baby?
  • Our lad was 6 months old at his first Christmas and we bought him a few presents to play with but one thing we found was that he wanted to play with each new toy properly before moving on to the next so two presents a day was about his limit! Christmas took almost a week in the end. The wrapping paper was just as interesting as the contents too.

My eldest was 9 weeks old on his first Christmas, we bought him some cuddly toys and toys that he would start to use before he turned 1. We also got him a 5 foot cuddly dog which 17 years on still has a place in his bedroom
I would love one of those! Well, I'm only 70.

Definitely buy a Baby's First Christmas card to keep. I'd suggest a couple of books too. I know they're too young at the moment but you can start traditions this year ( read them aloud yourselves) and bring it out every year.  I'd suggest one of the Christmas story and an illustrated copy of the poem  'Twas the Night before Christmas.
My First Bible Stories: The Nativity: Amazon.co.uk: Guillain, Charlotte, Grainger, Lesley: Books
Pop-Up 'Twas The Night Before Christmas by Susanna Davidson, Gaia Bordicchia | Waterstones

Next year, I'd get a nativity set so that they can move the characters around as you read the story.
Playmobil Nativity Set 3996 Boxed plus 3997 Wise Men near complete | eBay
or if you can knit (or know someone who can), make these during the year.
Nativity Knitting Pattern 9 Figures Easy to Knit ! | eBay

You might want to buy a special bauble for the tree too. You can get personalised ones with dates on and/or a Christmas stocking where you get the same one out every year.

That's one of the special things about Christmas is setting family traditions and you can start now. 😊
Any other recommendations of where to find "Twas the night before Christmas"? That link is not available now.
Any bookshop eg Waterstones, WH Smiths or auspermarket that sells books such as Tesco, Sainsbury's, Asda. Whether you  will be able to pick it up in a shop will depend on where you are in the U.K , under which Tier and whether you have restricted aisles that you can't buy from. Otherwise look on-line. It's a well known book for this time of year, whether it'll get delivered on time though is anyone's guess.

Are charm bracelets still worn? Bracelet for 1st Christmas, then a charm added each Christmas?

That's right. The other book that came to mind was The Jolly Christmas Postman.
The Jolly Christmas Postman (The Jolly Postman): Amazon.co.uk: Ahlberg, Allan, Ahlberg, Janet: 9780141340111: Books
It's such a beautifully presented book. I've bough it for most Children in the family over the years.

Pandora bracelets seem to be the modern day equivalent of the old chain link charm bracelets.
At least with those you now appear to be able to simply add the charms to the bracelet yourself - I think in the old days jewellers must have made a fortune charging to attach new charms to braccelets - or was I fleeced ?
