Been advised monthly rolling contract is due to end

Not if the provider decides to end the particular tariff and gives you notice in accordance with the terms. At the end of the notice period you will likely be cut off and may lose the number so best you do something about it. If it is an old legacy contract many providers are now ending those. Who is it with and how much are you paying for how much ?

As above, once out of the minimum term either side can cancel with 30 days notice.

If you contact Three on their webchat you will get a lot better deal. I was on 4Gb for £9.00 pm and recieved a letter saying they would put me on 8Gb for £12pm. After contacting them I am now getting 12Gb for £8.00 pm!

As above....
Just quote the deals on uswitch and Topcashback and they will just match them straight away.0
