My mobile stops ringing . How to solve it
Hi . I have a Nokia 2.3 phone and use Vodaphone PAYG. Over the last 6 months I have had a problem with my phone which only comes to light if someone tries to ring me. It first happened about 6 months ago. The phone would ring once then cut out. I only realised this as I was trying to complete a transaction with my bank and they were trying to ring me but the number was saying unavailable. After much looking online I found a code to put into my phone to extend the ringtime. It worked for about 3 months then the same thing happened again. Eventually found new code and it worked ok again. Then yesterday it happened again. I am in the process of selling my property and get calls from my solicitor and I am worried that I will miss something important. Does anyone know how I can stop this from keep happening please. I am 64 years old and not particularly tech savvy. I only use my phone for texting friends and family and occasionally making a call or receiving one. Thanks

Is it ringing for a short amount of time and then hanging up too quickly?
Do you get notified of a missed call?
There should be something in settings for ring duration or as you've discovered you can insert codes.
You could add voicemail function. There is usually a code to switch this on and off.

A factory reset is most likely to solve the problem.0

Thanks. Voicemail was on but nothing going to it. There is nowhere on the phone which gives the option to extend the ringtime. I tried ringing my phone from my landline and it just didnt ring at all. Searched the internet again and found a code. My main concern is that I may miss an important call but wouldn't know. Dont know whether it is a fault with the phone or something0
